BCAM Petition

The World Health Organization considers over 430 chemicals to be possible or known carcinogens, and many of these are used in personal care products.  We believe that our community has the right to know when they are being exposed to such toxins.  Thus, this petition is vital to increase our awareness and to promote safer products in Canada.  The petition demands that any product that contains a suspected or known carcinogen must be labeled with a clearly recognizable symbol. We know that more information to the public will help spread change for cleaner products and a better environment.

BCAM is petitioning to have recognizable symbols put on products in Canada that contain cancer causing chemicals.
